If you're working on a Windows PC and every export ends up as a .jfif instead of .jpgโ€ฆ you're not alone. But donโ€™t worry - weโ€™ve got you covered!

Whatโ€™s the deal with JFIF?

JFIF stands for JPEG File Interchange Format. It's basically a type of JPEG, and it should open in most image editors. But if you're having trouble, you can always just rename the file extension from .jfif to .jpg.

The Quick Fix ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

To make your PC save files as JPG by default again:

  1. Download the quick fix file below.

  2. Right-click and save it somewhere safe on your computer.

  3. Double-click the file in Explorer and accept the changes when prompted.

Boom. JPGs are back in business ๐ŸŽ‰

PRO TIP: After applying the fix, restart your browser for the changes to take full effect.
