The DCO feature is an add-on feature depending on your plan type. Please reach out to us on the chat or email if you want to know more!

A Dynamic Creative Optimisation setup can seem slightly overwhelming, and complex when talking about a feed with thousands of products connected to multiple websites and data points.

However, this is not the only way to utilise the value of the DCO πŸ€“

Let me introduce you to the versioning-DCO setup:

This is the next level live-editing, as you can use it to versioning your content for all formats in your campaign in a few seconds. This could be ideal for e.g. your "Alway on" track.

Through a simple Google Sheet with only a few columns of data that align with your text elements, you can improve your workflow and decrease production time 🀯

So how do you start:

  1. Build your template as you would with any other display creative

  2. Upload and connect your Google sheet to your design in Studio, as seen in this guide.

  3. Push to Manager and create your campaign

  4. Export as you normally would for your preferred DSP

Then when you need to make a change to e.g. your headline you simply:

  1. Go into your Google Sheet

  2. Change the text in your headline data column

  3. The change will be pushed automatically to the live ad

With dynamic production, you also have the option to easily split-test your creatives. If you add multiple rows of data, as we have in the example feed, the live ads will display the different messages alternately giving them equal time to shine 🌟.

OBS. The columns used in our example are best practice in terms of dynamic elements, but you can have the exact data columns that fit your needs.

Also, remember to include your UTM in the clickTag to ensure it is included in the exported ads.
