Zuuvi now supports sound in your MP4 exports, making your creatives even more dynamic. Hereโs how sound works in Studio and what to be aware of when exporting.
How to Enable Sound in Your MP4
If your uploaded video includes sound, youโll have the option to keep it when working in Studio. By default, all video layers are muted - but you can change that.
Follow these steps to enable sound:
Upload your video with embedded sound.
In Studio, click on your video layer.
Toggle the โMutedโ setting OFF in the right-hand menu.
This enables sound playback directly in Studio and Editor.

When you export your ad as MP4 or to Social, the sound will be included - if the mute setting is turned off.
Note that sound will not play in previews, only in Studio and Editor.
If you export as a display ad, sound will not be included, even if enabled, as this limitation is due to display ads legislation on when ads can have sounds added.
New Upload Limit ๐
Weโve also made room for bigger files!
When working with Zuuvi, understanding file size limits is crucial for ensuring compatibility with various platforms and optimizing performance. Below are the guidelines for video uploads and banner exports:
General Upload Guidelines
Zuuvi allows video uploads up to 32 MB. This limit applies to most use cases, including Social placements, where there are typically no strict weight restrictions.
A warning will appear if the file is larger than 2MB, just so you're aware
Best Practices for File Optimization
Adhere to platform-specific limits: Always check the requirements of the platform or client and ensure your files meet their specifications.
Aim for smaller file sizes: Even when the limit is 32 MB, keeping files as light as possible improves performance and loading times.
Optimize assets: Use compression tools and techniques to reduce file sizes without compromising quality.
Platform-Specific File Size Restrictions
For Display banners, ad platforms often enforce much smaller file size limits, typically around 4โ5 MB. It is essential to keep assets lighter to meet these requirements and ensure better performance, especially for videos.
Treat the 4 MB limit as a strict maximum when specified by the media partner or client. Files slightly above this limit may not be accepted, so always aim to stay within the specified size.
