How to Apply Images & Videos Across Formats in Studio

Learn how to apply images and videos across all formats in Studio using "Apply to All Formats."

Written by Emma Pescettini

When working in Studio, images and videos no longer update automatically across all formats when you make a change. Instead, you're now in control - just like in Creative Editor. This means you decide when and how your assets are applied across formats, giving you more flexibility and fewer surprises.

Here's how it works 👇

  1. Select your image or video layer in your banner format.

  2. Make your desired changes - swap the image, update the video, or adjust the asset as needed.

  3. Click "Apply to All Formats" or "Apply to selected formats" to push the change across your formats.

  4. Review your formats to make sure everything looks as expected.

💡 Pro Tip: Since one image or video container can now be shared across formats, you no longer need a separate layer for each format. Keep your layer structure clean and simple - one layer per element!

Why this change?

Previously, if you wanted different images or videos across formats you needed a separate image or video layer for every format - which could get messy fast. Now, one container works across all formats, making your workflow in both Studio and Creative Editor cleaner, faster, and easier to manage.
