It only takes a few steps:
Click on your text element
Go under "Edit" where you will find three options (from left to right) :
Align with the top: Will place your text at the top of your element
Align in the middle: Will place your text in the center of your element
Align with the bottom: Will place your text at the bottom of your element
👆 If you have added padding at the top or bottom of your text element then you will not be able to align your text
