You can now dynamically adjust font size in text layers so your message stays clean and never spills over. Whether you're designing for unpredictable text in DCO feeds or just want to keep your layout spotless, this feature is a game changer. ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Hereโ€™s how it works and how you can use it:

๐Ÿช„ How to Use Dynamic Font Resizing

  1. Select your text layer in Studio.

  2. Head over to the Text Properties panel.

  3. Look for the dropdown menu.

  4. Choose one of the following modes:

๐Ÿ“ Your Options Explained:

๐Ÿ” Overflow (Default)

Let it flow, let it flow ๐ŸŽต
This is the default setting. Text will behave as it always hasโ€”if itโ€™s too long, itโ€™ll simply overflow the layer without resizing.

๐Ÿ“ Max Lines

Keep your text from getting too chatty.
Select this option and youโ€™ll get an input field to define the maximum number of lines the text can use.

  • Choose 1 for a strict one-liner.

  • Choose 3 to allow the text to wrap, but never beyond three lines.

This is extra handy when you need your CTA to stay on one line - no matter how long the feed content is.
โ€‹

๐Ÿ”ฒ Bounding Box

Stay inside the lines.
Your text will resize to always fit within the width and height of your layer. Super useful when you want to avoid covering images or other elements - even if the copy gets wordy.

โœจ Good to Know:

  • The selected font size acts as a max size. The font will shrink to fit - but never grow beyond what youโ€™ve set.

  • You can use this feature across all use cases, but it really shines in DCO, where you canโ€™t always control how much text you get.

  • If changing the text settings on an already made template or creative set, you will need to change the setting on each format, depending on the wished behaviour on the format.
